The National Institute of Ayurveda (NIA), Jaipur,
Deemed to be University (De Novo), under the
Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India,
has announced a 45-day Certificate Course in Striroga Sthanika Chikitsa
for Ayurvedic doctors.
The course is being conducted by the
Department of Prasuti Tantra and Striroga
and focuses on theoretical knowledge, clinical exposure and
hands-on training in various Sthanika Chikitsa procedures.

About the Course
Striroga Sthanika Chikitsa includes local or in-situ therapeutic procedures
used in the field of women's health. The program combines theoretical
teaching with clinical and practical exposure.
The main objective is to develop practical competency in performing
various Sthanika Chikitsa procedures safely and systematically.

Weekly Course Curriculum
Week I – Foundation of Stree Roga Sthanika Chikitsa
Female reproductive anatomy & physiology, history taking and diagnosis of gynecological disorders.
Week II – Therapeutic Principles & Formulations
Sthanika Chikitsa principles, drugs, pharmacological aspects and preparation of formulations.
Week III – Therapies & Techniques
SOPs, indications, contraindications, benefits and mode of action of different procedures.
Week IV – Parasurgical Interventions
Uttarabasti, Kshara Karma and Agnikarma.
Week V – Basti & Clinical Skills
Snehana, Swedana, Anuvasana, Niruha, Ksheera and Madhutailika Basti.
Week VI – Safety, Ethics & Standard Protocols
Complications, safety measures, counselling, preventive gynecology and instruments.
Week VII – Research & NABH Protocols
Research updates, documentation, infection control and biomedical waste management.

- Female reproductive anatomy using models/simulators/cadavers

Passing Requirement:
Minimum 50% marks separately in Theory and Practical.
Attendance Requirement
Minimum 75% attendance in both Theory and Practical
is required for final assessment and certification.
Hostel & Accommodation
No hostel facility will be provided by NIA.
Participants have to arrange their own boarding and lodging.
