📚 Essential Qualification
- BAMS from a recognized University / Statutory State Board / Council under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 or NCISM Act, 2020
- Enrolment on the National or State Register for Indian System of Medicine
💼 Key Duties
- Diagnose and treat patients using Ayurvedic principles
- Manage AYUSH health facilities and supervise paramedical staff
- Implement national health programmes
- Maintain medical records and conduct public health outreach
⚠️ Special Conditions
- Only Domiciles of UT Ladakh are eligible to apply
- Valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Tehsildar is mandatory
- Probation: 2 Years | Post: Permanent, Group-B Gazetted, Non-Ministerial

⚠️ NPA = 20% of Basic Pay, as doctors cannot do private practice. DA is 60% as of January 2026 and is calculated on Basic + NPA. Max pay at Level 10 = ₹1,77,500. In-hand varies by city, tax slab & annual increment stage.
