Who Can Apply?
Applicants are required to hold a Bachelor Degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- The degree must be from a recognized University or Institution.
- The candidate must hold registration under the Odisha State Council of Ayurvedic Medicines.
- Provisional medical registration is not accepted.
- Compulsory rotatory internship / housemanship must be completed within the prescribed last date.
- The permanent registration certificate must also be issued before the application deadline.
Age Criteria
Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years
- Applicant should not have been born before 02 January 1984.
- Applicant should not have been born after 01 January 2005.

Odia Language Requirement
Candidates must be able to read, write and speak Odia. They are required to satisfy at least one of the prescribed educational conditions relating to Odia language.
- Odia studied as a language subject at Middle School level; or
- Odia used as medium in a non-language subject at Matriculation/equivalent level; or
- Odia passed as a language subject in Class VII or above; or
- Passed the prescribed Odia language test conducted by the competent authority.

How Will Candidates Be Selected?
