The term βAyurpraveshikaβ literally means βentry into Ayurveda.β
It is a Transitional Curriculum introduced by NCISM to prepare students for the professional study of Ayurveda through cultural orientation, Sanskrit understanding, ethical grounding, and practical awareness.
This 15-day (90-hour) program is conducted immediately after BAMS admission, before the start of regular academic sessions.
It helps students adapt to the environment of Ayurveda colleges, understand the essence of Ayurvedic philosophy, and become emotionally and academically prepared for their medical journey.
