What is AIAPGET 2026?

AIAPGET–2026 is the single national entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Ministry of AYUSH for admission to MD/MS postgraduate programmes in:

Academic Session: 2026–2027 | No separate entrance exam will be held by any AYUSH college for this session.

Eligibility Criteria

Must hold BAMS / BUMS / BSMS / BHMS / Graded BHMS Degree or Provisional Pass Certificate recognised under NCISM/NCH Act.
Must have permanent or provisional registration certificate from CCIM / CCH / NCISM / NCH / State/UT Board.
Must have completed 1 year internship or are likely to complete it by 31 August 2026.
Must be an Indian Citizen. No upper age limit.
Candidates already pursuing a PG Course must verify eligibility with the concerned University before applying.
Original Compulsory Rotatory Internship certificate must be produced at the time of counselling.

Tie-Breaking Criteria

If two or more candidates score the same marks, merit is decided as follows:

1 Candidate with fewer negative responses in the entire paper ranks higher.
2 If tie persists — candidate with higher aggregate percentage in BAMS/BUMS/BHMS/BSMS course ranks higher.
3 If still tied — older candidate gets higher merit ranking.

Exam City Selection

Select 4 preferred cities from Annexure-6 while applying (in order of priority).
Exam centres are available across 122+ cities in all states and UTs.
NTA will try to allot your preferred city but reserves the right to allot a different city.
Exam City Centre, once opted, cannot be changed.

Submit only one application. Multiple applications will lead to cancellation.
Use your own email & mobile number — all NTA communication is through registered contact only.
Ensure name, date of birth & photograph in Aadhaar match your application form.
Records of AIAPGET-2026 will be preserved for 90 days from result declaration.
AIAPGET scores are valid for Academic Session 2026–27 only.
No provision for re-checking or re-evaluation of answer sheets after result.
Answer Key challenges can be made for ₹200 per question (non-refundable).
All disputes fall under Delhi/New Delhi courts jurisdiction only.
